About Me

The number one question I always get asked (apart from if I am American…) is “What brought you over here?!” My beautiful wife Kristen was born and raised in Eccleston, Chorley and sold me on a wonderful country life of long walks and quieter times… for the most part this is true! I come from a “large” city of around 175,000 people 45 minutes west of Toronto and Eccleston is definitely a change of pace; one that I have grown to love.

I immigrated in January 2013 and after fumbling around Manchester trying to find a job I loved
doing, I went back into the world of mortgages. I was a personal banker in Canada and occasionally assisted people with their purchases or remortgages and I really enjoyed doing it so I thought to myself “let’s try this full time shall we”; And I haven’t looked back.

I worked for an estate agent as a broker for a little over 3 years where I hit the ground running in a busy office environment. After moving to a “mortgage brokerage firm” rather than a “mortgage broker working in an estate agent”, I learned a lot of lessons on how mortgages and clients can be treated much more personally and much differently than simply being a busy bee. I started working from home and learned how to accommodate to every situation; travelling to client homes for appointments for local coffee shops made work so much more rewarding as I was able to see my clients in their own homes with their families and to see first hand what really is important to them!

In February 2020 I started this firm to take a chance on doing it alone. I also decided that I will NOT charge my clients any fees either for my service as I truly want to be in a position to save my clients as much money as possible. I want all of my clients to be comfortable and confident that they are dealing with a mortgage professional who strives the extra mile for an amazing service. I have no scripts, I am “off the cuff” and I’d rather not wear a full stuffy suit to our meeting should you be okay with that!

I continue to ensure that my work life balance are exactly that and I take great pride in spending time with my 4 year old twins Alandra and Fenlon and taking my first baby Bonnie the Cavapoo for walks at her favourite park or along the public footpaths.
